    Ed White

Eds blog today was good.Although you simply missed the key concept of everthing boiling down to price controls because of the coming tsunami of inflation.

And the word conservative has been dead for a hundred years,so dont mix it in with neo-retarded.

You probably shaved off the whiskers at least last week, so did you burn them in a tin can and then count the crackles aloud indicating the month when inflation will hit with a whomp?

Give it your v-best predictive shot.lol

We can all suffer a little inflation in the lead up to the end of the Mayan calendar December 21, 2012........... I didn't realize that size mattered in fishing. I thought it was all about the experience. (lol)

When the CWB Act changed from being a national War Measure's Act to a Western grain act in 1948, the Federal Government needed the three Prsirie provinces permission, needed them to pass "enabling legislation", or sometimes called "complementary legislation"

The provinces hold constitutional powers including agriculture, so the feds needed permission from the provinces to meddle in agriculture..

                  The provinces gave permission.

I am posting that correspondence between Ottawa and the provinces on Parsley's Notebook. The historical papers come from Access to Information.

They are part of our history folks. We can't get out of the mess we are in until we learn how we got iN the mess we're in.

Ontario and Quebec were not part of Government schemes. Then or now.
Click on the papers and they will enlarge.Work from the botttom up.

well pilpilsner...i would like to say you are the most insightful pundit on the site with respect to inflation and gold...sigh...however...you dont hold a candle to a guy who USED to contribute here..and much like you conducted himself in a very sensitive and respectful manner...

you are correct of course that inflation is going to be a handful to contend with...the problem is WHEN is it going to be a "problem" and not part of the solution...given market data over the last quarter i would think a little inflation wouldnt necessarily be a bad thing??? at least in the short term??

pilpilsner...you have a wonderful grasp of economics...but your comment with respect to women and fishing shows a lack of fundamental understanding of the female gender...when they wiggle their bait..they are by FAR the superior anglers...but...you would have to be as young and goodlooking as i am to really appreciate this....vs
