They do excuse farmers....or at least I have been.
Or when they interview you, just say "Oh, that's the guy that did it!" You will be excused real quick.

If you are a Real farmer, who can ask to be removed and it will be granted.

Maybe you will be prosecuting a CWB employee or a fuel dealer or a fertilizer dealer or a machine dealer or a grain trader or a banker or one of the multitudes of others you have a dislike for, and can get back at them.
              Justice will prevail. LOL

It appears that I'm the only one that has any sympathy for your plight, SF3. The form has a space to tick off for a valid medical excuse. Proving insanity is usually a difficult endeavour, but shouldn't sowing a crop in the hopes of breaking even, qualify!!!!!

its a sad indictment on society...that the jury should be made up of people who werent smart enough to find a way to obfuscate in performing their civic duty....

Mmslle Parsley...fur handcuffs dont count as shackles...maybe in the figurative sense...but its nice to see you being so open about your personal "preferences"...lol...it seems you mentioned spankings in another post...now its shackles...WOW..what a chick...

i tend to agree...they shouldnt ALLOW farmers or ranchers to be on a jury...by the very act of BEING a farmer or a rancher you preclude yourself as a lower form on the evolutionary ladder...vs

OK...let's have a little more fun with your plight. Civic duty is important but your business is more important. Oh but wait, if you're not in control of your wheat, you should not be in control of your civic duty either so I guess you had better attend. Maybe the courts should publish a daily price, let's call it a discount, on how much it would cost to buy your way out of jury duty based on the day you make the decision. Don't expect it to be a calculation that you could do but rather a number that just pops into their head. You can exercise a call option...call a CWB supporter and ask them to share in your civic duty. They don't want anyone to get more than them so they should be willing to average in their time with yours.

Wonder if you'd change your mind if it was a trial for farmers that got caught shipping wheat south of the boarder?

Ok if that was the trial I would hire the neighbors to seed and work to get the guy off.
