    Fertilizer Conf in New York!

Just listened to the Speech by the Head of Pot of Saskatchewan. Man this guy is full of Shit.
1st the farmers of the world cant get money to put in a crop so they wont pay for our high priced fertilizer. (Fertilizer use on our farm increased not decreased this spring But Pot cut out Sulphur up)
2nd Farmers are cutting back on fertilizer use all over the world look at Argentina they cut back and production dropped. (Drought you idiot not fertilizer use).
3rd IF farmers dont use Pot their yields will be reduced by over 30%. (Hm lets see I will produce 30% by not using pot, Must have flunked soil science because I dont remember that one)(Yes it will effect corn and palm but not by his numbers)
4th prices for food will skyrocket just watch, this is just a temporary drop. (yea for some reason they think 7 wheat and 10.50 canola make you money when Air Drill is 1/2 million and tractor to pull is $335,000 and Fert is 1000 ton etc).
5th Stick with me and I will show you the way. Basically telling share holders dont worry I know what farmers are going to do. (Protect the share price protect the share price).
    ETC ETC ETC
Well He just ticks me off about as much as terry use to from Sask food.
    Any way the games continue.

Oh yea last winter these guys were warning us that the World will run short because farmers chose to not buy. Yea the Anhydrous truck hasn't been late so far with the late spring you would think if we are all seeding this would happen under his scenario. No shortage of any 46 or 11 or 21. Myth busters just shot down another myth.
Yea when it freezes this fall it will cause production loss because we all fertilized less. Just wait that will be the comments.

Apparently NH3 prices are breaking already in the U.S. 400 a Ton for fall delivery. Converts to about 550 C$.

Say, SF3 you've no doubt had potash soil tests completed on your land. What lbs/acre numbers are you finding? I had an old guy tell me the other day that he had potash tests completed in 1964, and he redid them in 1995. 1964 levels were 2200 lbs/acre. 1995 levels were 1200 lbs/acre. Is that depletion rate possible? Thank you.

Oh great! Another fertilizer we will have to import to get a decent price.
