    Squeeze out that premium boys

From a usda report on brazil

Brazil likely will seek non-Mercosul wheat from the United States, Canada, and Russia. Canada and the United States are well-situated to be the main suppliers. The Canadians are very aggressive this year given that its crop in 2008 was quite large and of high quality. Industry sources noted rates as low as $245-$270CNF (market prices are closer to $265-275).

Thats strange... the CWB is quoting $391/t at port position....

By the way CWB's weather guy Stuart McMillan went to Texas/Ok twice to check out the crop.

He wanted to get first hand view.

(the CWB weather/internet equipment is substandard?)

Said all is as USDA reported down there in the US.

Good thing we have the CWB to travel for us and 'squeeze out that premium!' out of US!...

Well when will the Genius at the CWB say planting this spring is not really normal since next week is the 20Th and their calling for snow again. But the rosy colored glasses are always on at the CWB.

Tom you quote.......By the way CWB's weather guy Stuart McMillan went to Texas/Ok twice to check out the crop.

Not sure what he said, but got a call from our Custom Harvester and he said they lost a job of 10,000 acres in Texas
because all the wheat froze out. He also said some of their Oklahoma acres are also lost due to crop frozen out. What is everyone else hearing?

That crop was known to be screwed a month ago by every farmer down there. The trade has been playing games with the market up till now when truth can not hide at harvest. Bunch of theives manipulating the market. My god, they were -5 to -7c for three nights, of course that crop was screwed - but now some analyst from the CWB flies down there on our dime to "feild check" in between golf games, to tell uneducated farmers in western Canada some big news that anyone with a computer has known for a month!!!! F@#$ me they must think we all live in nursing homes or live in some backwoods bubble. Sorry for the rant, but do they realy think we are that nieve? In between this time they drop the PRO's!!
