    corn seed

    we saved some conventional corn from last fall to plant a few acres of it this spring and we were wondering if you have to do anything special to the seed before we seed it? We were going to apply Vita fLO to it. Any suggestions?

    As long as it was kept dry it should be fine. I had 20 bags I did the same with, I stepped the population up about 7-8% on the planter in case the germ rate was down a bit but I don't expect much problem from it.

      Ahhhh thought you meant you saved seed corn, not OP corn from harvest. I wouldn't put any more money into it, just put it in the ground.
