things to do to stay awake on the drill

    Play with blackberry
See how long you can hold your breath
Scream at the people who call into gormley
Open door and shoot at sea gulls
Think of things to say to people on agriville that will drive them crazy
Ponder if lweber and kevin hursh are actually the same person
When talking to self use paully shores voice in head
Come to grips with the fact that the lead singer of the bare naked ladies is a coke head
Try not to drink booze and see how many shots of coffee you can do before puking

    Anybody got anything else

    Talk on the VHF radio.
    Call in to Gormley
Listen to CBC radio and wonder why our govt funds that crap.
Listen to comedy channels on Satellite radio.

Most important is play on Blackberry, they shouldn't even sell autosteer without throwing in one

I don't think he is Cotton. A distant relative at the closest.

Oh ya another one bullshit on Agriville.

Swear at sakstel for not having cell service on most of the land I farm.
              Movies on the laptop.
Trying to figure out why the air conditioning only works when it's cold out.
Curse Bill Doyle out loud for being the biggest dip s**t in buisness everytime he opens his mouth.

According to Hurst, why bother staying awake while seeding. Hurst comment, "I know farmers who are so confident in their auto steering systems that...some even catch catnaps from one end of the field to another. To make sure they don't sleep through the end of the field, they set a timer to wake them up in time to turn the outfit around for the next pass." That might work on the Regina or Rosetown plains, but our terrain has obstacles like frequent bluffs, potholes with deep water, and wandering moose!!! Before following through on target practice on seagulls, best talk to the Bluejay seagull killer. I think it was a $1000.00 fine for terminating one with a baseball.

I couldn't believe Hursh said that also, just an accident waiting to happen. Well I am awake after the connecting rod went threw the side of the motor and had time to think after got the fire out. Don't recommend it though.

Does Hursh actually drive a tractor, I guess he does. Maybe the topic should be how to sleep on the drill. hehe

I bet after the fire was out you thought "why did I put that out".
Did you get the latest round of snow?

Trying to find a spot on your motor hot enough to light a cigarette is always fun.

Rained near Kenosee Lake region last night, maybe 1/10th, and is dreary looking outside this morning, but a perky rejuventing arousal for the soil. Pars

Add up how much money we are spending/hr or $/day - Kinda scary!
ex: 320ac/day @ $125/ac = $40,000/day or well over $3000/hr. Oh man I hope it warms up soon. When you add up all the acres seeded already and the money spent in Western Canada to date it would be almost mind boggling to know how much is at risk from dampning off, freezing, ect. On the bright side it looks to straighten out by Friday.
One big farmer in our district is seeding about 2000 - 2500ac/day - 5 74ft drills, when they can go 20-24hrs/day. Makes my numbers look small!
