    Cheap china tires, @$#%^^%!!

We had 7 flat tires in the last 4 days of seeding - all on canola stb. Seeded 4000 ac wht/bly/pea/lentil stb no problem then $%#^^&&.
We had no choice but to replace 8 tires last year with cheaper chineese impliment tires b/c of the supposed rubber shortage. The old tires were checked but never went flat - 13 years. One year one the new ones and the canola stb was goin right through, $%^#$ me was that frusterating.

Replaced 10 tires on air drill this year . They look like
the old ones which were 5 years old . They only
covered 3300ac. Two new ones on the heavy harrows
went flat after 1000 ac. When we soaped the tires
there was 50 pin holes in each tire. How do you look
for good tires anymore? Right now we are taking what
      we can get!

We are putting on all highway service tires - instead of the farm implement tires. One tire that was 1 year old had 3 pieces of canola stocks in it, and yes we are zero till. But the fact remains that there was alot of cheap tires brought in from overseas last year and they are all garbage - better off with a good bicycle tires.
Funny thing is we were all told it was the Asian Demand for tires that caused the tire shortage here in N.A. Much like the b/s fert shortage situation excuse last year as well. It's called screwing the N.A. consumer for every last nickle - period....

I put a set of Chinese tires on my tractor last spring. They were all I could get. Is that what I have to look forward to? They pull good but are sure square in the morning.

Finished the potholes today and are going to change out all remaining cheap tires tomorow - And quite frankly, I do not care what highway service tires from goodyear will cost. The dealer that we bought the cheap tires from is gone(Tirecraft), so we are S.O.L. Good luck to those of you still goin.
