They are emptying out their barns now wondering if anyone got any inside info on if someone will take over the barns and the feed mill by St.Gregor so as to keep our market for feed grain around here? They were a major feed buyer and a little worried about the feed market disappearing.

It must be tough for him to drove by the
government sponsored offices of big sky.
It's not really fair that the government
should be picking winners and loosers like
that. W'eve sold allot of feed grain to
them and we where able to move allot of
heated off grade stuff because of them.
The barns will be missed by many in the
area

5. Bankruptcy highlights hog industry's struggles

A major player in Saskatchewan's hog industry filed for bankruptcy this week, and some say it's an indication of how bad times have become for the industry.



Stomp Pork Farms, which produced 18 per cent of the hogs in the province, will close 11 barns affecting around 300 employees.
