    Anyone harvesting?

Just curious as to what areas have harvest underway. Winter wheat here maybe wed/thurs followed by some peas.

Peas harvested eight days ago, just before the big rains on Friday. They were swathed twelve days prior to that. Yesterday, began spraying durum. SE Sask. Looks like all the crop will be made by end of August.

Not even close. There is some barley maybe two weeks away, winter wheat starting to turn, spring is not green- green anymore, but still quite green, lol some canola just done blooming, the rest has a week left, oats is quite green, peas 10 days or so. one wet, cold week after another not advancing crops. The canola if she makes it will be my best ever. By far. But, I need a month frost free, I reckon. She is more than five feet tall, and many areas are pushing six or more, podding very well, a real jungle, but friggin' late I tell you.

Custom harvesting reds for a neighbour. West of town. About 18-20 bpa. A lot shorter than our lentils to the east but his are now in the bin.
Tried some fall Rye. 18 moist
Winter wheat about same spent all weekend spraying round up during day and reglone at night.
If we miss this weather system should be full on by middle of next week.
Finally lots of farms North and East of Davidson won't combine in August

A field of peas dessicated today. Haven't heard of anything swathed east of Humboldt. Week or so for earliest barley, wheat filled but green, 2 weeks yet till swath.Canola seeds firming but needs 10 days of good weather, not rain. All crops great but some are weedy. Cleavers in Invigor and Flax. Thistles every field.

Done the peas 10 days ago and now 3/4 way done lentils but slow progress - large greens and the cool damp summer kept putting more and more growth on so they didn't die easily when dessicated. The seed is dry but the stem is very green at cutting level. Have seen bigger yields with half the plant material.
