Another Benefit to Carts, Fields extreemly soft in our area, using the Cart to get the grain to the edge of the feild saves the trucks. We only have 1 combine, but it never stops. When field conditions are dry though would just as soon drive truck beside combine as grain cart. Agree with CP though crops looking pretty awsome so far.

To those commenting on their neighbours losing canola yield by swathing too green, how can you possibly keep up with canola swathing without swathing some too green? If some isn't too green to start with doesn't that mean that you're losing money on the hind end when your swathing canola that's too ripe? Just wondering...

you darn farmers, swathing so green, your're going to throw out of whack the experts on here that knew exactly how many bushels of canola were going to be harvested. Oh by the way since alot of canola is 2 to three weeks away from swathing (unless you cheating and cutting it green!),let's walk through a scenerio 3 weeks until swathing 2 to 3 weeks until combining after that, so 6 weeks until all that canola is going to be started harvesting, HMMMMM maybe alot of the green wheat is going to be staying over winter because with your normal dates of winter snow, harvest will not be completed by 3rd week in october.
