Yellow mustard prices have been moving higher with bids mostly in the low to mid 30 cent/lb area (some reports of over 40 cents/lb). Smaller crop, a trade that is short supplies relative to their nearby 01/02 sales program and some indication that European supplies are tight/they are currently looking around Canada for additional supplies are the factors in this run up. Brown mustard prices have also improved (16 to 18 cents/lb with one report of 20). Oriental prices have sat still in the 13 to 14 cent/lb area.
