    wireless internet

    Does anyone have experience with wireless internet connection? A company is planning to connect to the fibre-optics cable that runs through town and then broadcast the signal from the water tower. They say if is much faster than either cable or DSL(niether of which we can get on the farm). So it must be hundres of times faster than my 21,600 phone line.

    We are on wireless & pay $40/mo for unlimited use. It is great!! I would cut my bell express off first before taking off the internet.
    The world simply opens once you get the download speed up.
    By the way get a good service provider for computer needs.There are lots of people that don't back up,don't have antivirus protection etc & they end up crashing. All happens because the world can come in now at a incredible rate!
