Iam looking for a good program that will let me enter my debts,inventory,assets, production plans for the following year , inputs, and expenses and give me a picture of how my farm will do given the projected crops and yeilds. and also change various things to see how they will affect the farms profit.

I have looked into 4 accounting software packages in the last few weeks. They are Quickbooks, MYOB, Settler Lite and Settler Gold. I believe I am going to purchase the Settler Lite as it is the closest to the old software that we had. It was also the easiest to learn. Another added benefit is that I can upgrade to Settler Gold in the future if I wish without any major changes.
