    I have recently heard about commercial garlic operations, and was wondering if anyone knew of how to market (farmers markets, crushers, etc.) I have heard that presently, much of the garlic extract or oil is imported from California for use by herbal products companies in canada. Does anyone know about the potential?

      Have had a difficult time getting referral information. Can pass on a few contacts in Alberta Ag that may be able to help with garlic. These are: Belinda Choban - Veg Specialist @ belinda.choban@agric.gov.ab.ca, Karen Goad - Agri-Food Development Consultant @ karen.goad@agric.gov.ab.ca, Kathy Lowther - Business Development Specialist @ kathy.lowther@agric.gov.ab.ca. All three of these people have investigated the crop to some extent.
