Any major differences between Invigor 8440 and 5440? Looking at 5770 as well. The brochure says its 3bus more in yeild and 1-2days later in maturing. Any feed back on it?

You may want to check out how they did in the seed company plots at the Farms.com Yield Data Centre.

For us
5440 does best on best ground
8440 is a REAL workhorse and handles lower fertility and moisture stress. My experience is 8440 holds strong avg yields while 5440 has top end performance but doesn't do as well as 8440 when things get tough. Here 8440 is swathed 3-5 days sooner then 5440. 5770 looked real good in the plots here although never grew yet...I hate 5030 for its size, but was the best yielder again last season.
