Ok this is the last thread, I just thought I would throw some conversation out there.
We grew Soybeans on our Farm for the first time last year and had fantastic results. We grew mid to low 40's which I think for our area is a success. Our intention with Soybeans as a cropping option was to get our cereal acres down to 25%. This year when I pencil all my cropping options Soybeans lag behind most of my othe cropping options. I am tempted to grow them again to build on our experience but I am wondering what others have found.
One of my biggest questions for more experienced bean growers is how much moisture is used up? On a drier years is there yeild sacrifice on follow crops because of moisture taken by the beans, simular to what we see with Chickpeas?
