    Hazourdous chemicals

Do you think that chemicals being leached into water systems is hazourdous or not. I'm curious to get peoples opinions on this.

What type of chemical ? Define chemical? What amount of it and into what amount of water ? What type of water system? Would you drink the water after this chemical has entered it? Does anything drink or use the water that was "contaminated" ? Have there ever been cases like it before and were they conidered to be contaminated and hazardous? What are the effects of this mixing, locally and globally? ...many questions to consider. But if someone is wondering, they probably have the answer too.

I'm doing a project just on pesticides, and fungicides and any other type of herbicides that could be leached into anytype of water systems in general. Drinking water, river water, any type of water system.

I think you could get good technical info from an agro centre. The type that sells fertilizers and provides chemical application services. I can't speak for them all but I do work for one and although I am not an expert there are those who know a bit about it. i.e. a herbicides reaction with the plants and its reaction the residue will have with the soil...its effectiveness may be minimizes as compared to just tipping the jug over on the ground. There is some info out there I think will help. Just hit the right person at ther right place. If you need more help write...
