Wd - not crazy - reality. Every system has it's place. Now so does yield. Last year we seen 60 bus from all three systems in the same area.
Liberty - great genetics poor chem
R/R - good gentics - Poor chem rotation
C/F - good genetics - good chem selection, awkward in pulse rotation.
Each canola has excellent and poor varieties and programs.
Nice to have choice without sacrifice - kinda like when the CWB will be gone.

I would have to agree that liberty is a poor herbicide but it is good for herbicide rotation for the most part except when u mix a group 1 for the wildoats. Roundup is a great herbicide and good for rotation on broadleafs and wildoats "in crop"
not so much for preburn and pre/post harvest apps and we do every acre every year....but agree yield is very similar but need all three systems!!!

Furrow, gotta ask, why does liberty get the great genetics title if they yield the same as the RR?

also, most people spray group 1 with liberty which makes it a poor chem rotation. Clearfield relies on group 2 which has huge resistance issues in western Canada. How can that be a good option?

Guess you should get some 1990. 40% better sounds a bit fishy. No?
