What will you do differently if it looks droughty this year?

Record hot and seems dry this early.

    What are you guys thinking?

Is there anything different that can be
done if it looks like we are going to be
    dry?

Seed through the wet spots, have access
to all the land I farm, seed every acre,
leave no ruts, and grow a better crop,
    have crops that use fertility
    efficiently, not leaching or
    denitrifying, no cattails on hillsides,
no compaction from air tanks and
    anhydrous wagons, healthy crops that
actually mature with the nice heat,
combine them dry, and finally, I will
catch up from the last 8 years of near
    hellish experiences financially, and
mentally, and physically, and have grain
to sell at high prices, rather than
watch the prices with empty bins.

I know, that is quite a list, but we
NEED a drought out here. lol

With a drough you get to do a good job seeding and wait for rain. With a wet spring you fight and scratch for each acre untill you finally give up seeding then watch it rain so much you can't get on your field to spray and fight with mud right through harvesting a shitty crop. And all winter you hope for a dry spring so you can fix the damage from the previous wreck.
If we have a drought I'm going to enjoy summer at the beach with the kids. (can't control it either way but its much more enjoyable weather)

Zip, 90% that way at seeding here. Dryish to start with some rain or no rain later. 1 in 10 we are wet at seeding.
May drop 30lbs N at seeding and top dress later if conditions change if it stays dry but still over a month away and we are getting a few systems moving through now.
