Atom Jet twin band openers

Anyone using these? I am rigging my seeder up with them this spring, and just wondering how guys like them. I am only shooting seed/dry fert down the seed tube, and nh3 for nitrogen. I was recommended these openers rather than the side band ones, due to risk of nh3 contacting the seed at higher rates.

Any comments welcome.

How are those openers working out for you FW? I need to convince my boss to get away from those mid row banders and I'd like to hear your experience with the Atoms.

Hey tman, I really liked how they
worked. My crops are not showing n
defficiency like they did with mid
rowing, and the job they did was
excellent. On one rented field of wheat,
which has wild oat issues, I have become
used to seeing a row of crop, yellow and
stunted, then between the row, nice
green well fertilized wild oats. This
year, the wheat is green, the wild oats
are starving... lol

I really would recommend them. Only
issue is the wetness we are fighting
now. It will be hard at this rate to
draw conclusions basing the results
soley on this single wet year, you know?
But honestly, my emergence and my crop
color is more where it should be...

BTO, are you saying that those MRB's actually work? What conditions are you using them in? Heavy cereal stubble and pea stubble on a cloudy day? I sure like to see that.
