and as long as you want to chase the latest unproven technology you might make the odd bad buy. seems like everyone's to blame but your choices. who knows, maybe last year you were singing the praises of the same variety. the csr's with their beer and wisdom have you convinced there's nothing that can't be beat by the chemical shed. every management plan has vulnerabilities and this year proved that in spades. is anybody going to look at the varieties that came out five years ago and maybe did better this year? i doubt it because you might lose 3 or 4 per cent in yield.

Explain why I'm now Swathing 5440 which is 4 to
five year old variety, yes seeded later but it
standing nice, virtually nothing for sclerotina aster
yellow min and by the way it's poded way better
plus the size of pods bigger, unless a hail storm
should kick L150 s ass by double. See again
explain why you just can't face facts not BS like
the CWB did with us on HRS. We're paying to
much for seed and disease control that's just not
cutting it. Or are you really a chemical rep just
snooping around. Most of the shit out their works
      in the Canola dome.

So many decisions in ag today. Expensive
          decisions.

We have no choice but to trust the information
provided by research material. It is just possible
that none of the scads of Ag Can inspectors is
asking for proof of claims and so the onus is on
the farmer to test it himself at his own expense.
Its great to have a site like this where our test
          results are shared.

              SF3,

For an industry with $10B income to growers... Canola has been a life saver for the vast majority of us.

RR Tech worked super for us this year... never have had cleaner Canola crops... only one 3/4le app in crop with some lontrel. We made sure the fields were totally clean on emergence with clean start... wow...no frost... great stands.

              Cheers

Combining this shit right now, wanted some 5440 and l150 was supposed to be the better so I sucked on like a leach cause could get all 150. Meanwhile most farmers were dropping it like flies. Yes the twisted mess and most Aster infected crop in my countryside , like ****

Hopper, then why didn't you grow the 5440?
Because you listened to a salesman? Who's
to blame? Did the seed come with a
performance guarantee? Who you really mad
                    at? Should it be yourself?

                    I know, fire gasoline thingy.

why doesn't the seed come with a performance guarantee? Farmers are the retarded ones for letting this get to this point.

WD40 BAYER took 5440 off the market this
was the last year to get seed because
all along the Super Duper L150 was its
                        much superior replacement.
Well we had L150 first in test plots of
40 acres then last year and 1500 this
year. I have said to Bayer that L150 is
a shit variety since day one. But like
some CWB supporters they only here one
thing. BLAH BLAH BLAH. So now we tell
our Bayer reps that were dropping all
Bayer products in 2013. Hm can you say a
                        little worked up.
L150 is a shit plant, Im swathing last
1500 acres of 5440 and really getting
more madder each field with L150.
                        Basically $319,500.00 less because I
didnt search harder for more 5440 and
take more old seed stock. Yea 5440 is a
taller variety but in the heavy rain
guess what it stood and bounced back up
not Die like L150. So yes hopper is
                        correct its shit.
