Food for thought, will seed supplies be tight for next year. Ifso I think prices will definately skyrocket! Any thoughts?

I agree. I would be doing germ tests on all my cereals. I would also suggest having seed supplies lined up early (i.e. fall/early winter) - particularly if you are variety specific.

That would raise the question of what to seed next year. My thoughts are to stick to best results crop rotations with a healthy respect for soil moisture. Prices are likely to be good for all crops so this should be less of an issue as what will grow well next year and fits into a long term solid crop rotation.

Others thoughts?

This next month will tell much of the story as more crop comes off and germination tests come back .. lining up supplies early is advisable

I have been trying to line up seed early, but the seed companys (big and small ones) havent set there prices yet so it is hard to buy seed yet.
