anyone know what the spots all over canola plants is? They are little white spots on pods and the stems.

Here's a few possibilities.
Are the white spots slightly sunken and rubbing them doesn't remove anything? Then they could be spotty hail damage. You would notice then that pods would only have the spots on the upper surface.
If the spots have material that will rub off they could be disease spots.
If the spots look like the outer skin has been peeled off, that is due to insect feeding (diamond back moth, bertha armyworm).
