Acreage switch in 2013

Hello everyone. Just wanted to discuss
whats your point of view on planting
intentions and potential acreage switch
across Prairies this year. Hearing from
many about 10% total canola acres to move
to other crops. And whats with the
weather! With this much of snow, it does
seem to head towards a wet spring late
seeding.

2012 cereals 57%, 2013 50%

Interesting! What is the general planting
window for farmers in SK, MB and AB for
Spring plantings? And till which date,
farmers usually seed their farms in years
when planting gets delayed?
