    16 - 20 % yield increase ??

At the farm and ranch show in Edmonton I met a guy who sells this stuff called TM 21. It's supposed to be a biostimulant for plants and soil. What is does (according to the brochure) is that it improves the organisms in the soil, the nutrient uptake and of course yield. The sales guy said that it improved his own canola yields 16 - 20% compared to the not treated stuff.
    Sounds pretty good, doesn't it?
But since I'm always skeptical I'd like to know if anyone has any experience with this stuff and knows if it really works that well?

If everything we applied to our crops increased the yield as promised we'd be harvesting 100 bushel canola. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Met a lady at the same show who had customers use it on hay crops in Alberta last year. She told me that the increase was evident in every field where it was applied. She said you could see the height difference where it was missed as well.

Maybe something to it, I do believe the cost was not that bad either.

Is this product similar to a product like tagteam, where it makes the phosp. readilly available to the plant

Battle River Research Group and maybe some other Applied Research Associations in Alberta is doing some basic research on TM 21. Contact them in the fall for the results.
