If you don't mind, where can a guy get more info on Dyna-gro, here in Sask. who handles it? Also what mixture rate do you use for the solo and odyssey?

What about seed treatment. I have used a little Vitaflow 280 in the past, but usually use nothing. Are most producers replying to this thread using seed treatments on their peas also?

My local supplier is Gary Betoria in Unity 1-306-228-2568
We use 1 lt/ac before you add herbicide.
Last year we also seen a 1.5% protien bump in hrsw.
We have tried seed treatments but with little economis results - we feel no reason if seed quality is good.

I treat when the weather is poor and the outlook is the same. If seeding into really cold mucky ground (the kind you really think you should still be at home)it has really paid off. I have had neighbours seed at the same time and their peas virtually stall and rot. If conditions are good, and my seed is good I don't.

Good point cris, seed treatments are benifitial in those conditions. We have not seen those conditions for sometime.

Would you be willing to provide your contact information or e-amil address. I would like to discuss some products with you. I just had a one hour conversation with a BioAgronic rep. Very interesting stuff.

Is this the same idea as "compost tea"? Curious to hear from a producer vs a supplier?

Best seed treatment for this year will likely be Apron alone or Allegience. It is pennies a bushel and really helps with dry seed with cracked seed coats and it is cheapest possible source. ApronMaxx will not be any better, and at a higher price. Apron will also crush Vitaflo in this environment. Vitaflo/Apron Maxx are better under diseased seed conditions where seed has come off a wet fall. Pythium control is the concern this year with dry fall harvest last year
