How are producers making out in the south? We are in the dead of winter here again after more heavy wet snow yesterday(6 "). And oh ya, -14c this morning. I drove to Vanscoy yesterday, just over a 100 km's from here, and not a speck of snow. We will be lucky to see the 15th of May as a start-up.

It's cold here too in southern Alberta. -7 was the overnight low, top of ground frozen solid every night where the snow is melted off. Some seeding was done here before the snow last weekend, but I suspect there will be reseeding to do.
If it warms up enough to melt all the snow, we might get started in a week, which would put us at least 2 weeks behind average.
Just waiting for some politician to link C02 to global cooling, because that is looking far more likely at this point.

I would dearly love to drag Al Gore and David Susuky? behind the ski-doo to see if their oppinion still holds up. It could be so much fun. And yes the ski-doos are going everywhere today.
