With one month to go in the soybean marketing year the last week of July logged new sales of half a million tonnes. That got some attention.
Last year at this time China was cancelling old crop sales and rolling to new.

Bucket. I am aware that there has been flooding in China this summer but I have seen no reports that it has done significant damage to this year's crops.
