Freeze Damage to Crops

We are students at Harmony Magnet Academy, an engineering academy. For our senior project we are looking into solutions for a more effective way of protecting crops from freeze.

Winter poses a serious threat to local farmers as freezes can cause major loses of crop yield and profits. We here at HBM Tech Solutions are looking into ways that farmers can better protect their crops from freezes and increase their profits.

Please take a moment of your time to fill out our quick survey. Click Here

Thank you

Not too many producers in Saskatchewan intentionally grow a crop to have it winter over, and by the time winter comes usually the crop is mature enough so no freeze damage.

However it can freeze in the spring summer and fall which can cause total loss, if that is what you are
considering then alright. But is this a chemical consideration?

Thank you for your feedback. We are gathering information via the survey to decide which solutions to consider. We are considering freeze damage during all seasons of the year. Are you a farmer yourself? If so we would be grateful if you would fill out this survey and send it to other farmers.
