    That looks like a diamond back moth. The leaf hoppers that cause aster yellows hop around like little grass hoppers. We had lots of them here this year but I'm not seeing a lot of aster yellows. It's a weird virus for sure.

      Could it be winter off types mixed in your canola seed? Usually from Argentina production.

        Boys that's aster yellow not disease or drought. Windy years the hoppers blow in from the USA. This year was windy. We lost a big part of our crop in 2012 with these. Lots of you started spraying for disease when it was aster yellow.

            .........even the first pictures posted? I'd have to agree with aster yellows on the canola pictured against the red shirt(or what ever).
