If you think someone needs to "stand-up" to Monsanto - and you think that person should be someone who has turned his dishonesty into being a celebrity - then pick Schmieser.
Gwynplaine has it right - no one is forcing anybody to use Monsanto products - if you don't like the rules buy other CAnola. I don't like the TUA either, but I have some need for RR Canola on my farm from time to time so I pay the TUA. My choice.
Schmieser is no hero - but he certainly is opportunistic. Use logic; do you actually think that the courts would find him guilty if there was any doubt about it? Courts tend to favour individuals - not corporations. So we have a criminal as a poster child for everyone who has a bone to pick with Monsanto. Sad.
