Try explaining this to Sask. Crop Ins.
They have increased the premiums but cut the coverage. So I thought about getting the $75/acre stand alone weather based option. Problem is though, I won't be elegible for a canola advance (according to crop insurance). At 70% coverage on my canola they are guaranteeing only 12.5 bu/ac. WHAT A JOKE. I only grow Invigor LL canola (the best in my opinion) and NO Nexera.
So this is my question...Why is Canola all the same in their eyes?
