bugs seem to prefer IMC 111 canola

I have diamondback moth larvae damage in my IMC 111 canola fields and no apparant damage in other fields of different varities.
Is it the different oil profile of the specialty oil canolas that makes bugs prefer them?

Any one else noticed higher levels of bugs in their specialty oil canolas?

I just had my MC111 sprayed last nite.The pressure was above the threshold levels. As a another field close by that was 34-55. The other fields were below threshold levels.
Now the next question is because you have the canola priced at more acceptable levels. Should the threshold level be lowered?

same with mine. Pod abortion levels were way higher in the IMC than any of my other canola due to diamondbacks. Very strange.
