I am shopping around for pre-buy fertilizer prices and am getting different bulk densitys on the same blend from suppliers. Where do I get the most bang for the buck, higher or lower density?

It shouldn't make any diffence at all. I've measured fertilizer bulk density many times in a fertilizer plant and the values changed depending on the temperature and humidity at the time the fertilizer was unloaded. Higher humidity levels increased the bulk density by 1 or 2 pounds so really not that significant. The bulk density values you see on your quotes may not exactly reflect what's in the fert shed unless they just took bulk densities recently. They only measure fert bulk density a few times a year to calibrate the blenders. Concentrate on price per tonne based on the same blend across each fert supplier.
To give you an example of fert bulk densities:
46-0-0 ranges from 46 to 49 lbs
11-52-0-0 ranges from 60 to 64 lbs
0-0-62 ranges from 66 to 68 lbs
21-0-0-24 ranges from 60 to 62
Long winded but I hope that helps.

They would never think of trying to convince us that the majority of farmers "polled" want to keep the CWB would they? That would be lying if they didn't report true poll results.
You don't suppose that the companies in charge of the latest election were somehow linked to the Liberal party do you?
The article states that any contract under $25,000 doesn't have to be tendered out. Does anyone have the number of the Liberal party, I might call them to see how much a membership costs.

Sometimes it is nice to see what is being said about the people who are privy to and able to sit in on CWB Board meetings, and are also responsible for doing the polls for farmers.

How many, and which farmers, does Herle's polling for the CWB include?
Who you poll and how many you poll influences the results. Should Farmers take CWB poll results at face value?
