Lots of CDC Imagine grown here last year. Seed is sold by AU. Most growers wanted it becasue they were having trouble with group 1 tolerant wild oats.

CDC Imagine is a conventional bred variety, not a gmo wheat, as much as I know and has shown some nice yields. To bad it is hooked to one monopoly player that pried themself in still making money even so they lost in grain handling in 04/05 wunder where they made it, inputs with Agrium and friends?

If this is not a GMO wheat ,can a guy save his own seed or does it follow the same restrictions as the clearfield canolas ?

CDC Imagine is a good wheat 15 protein and very very clean. No regrowth of wild oats in the stubble. A grower can only seed an equal acreage using his own seed there is a $80 fee to check germ and chemical resistance. You could grow more than your 2005 seedings but they will only sell you enough chemical for your 2005 acres
