Peas on Round-up canola stubble

Is it a good practice to grow yellow
peas on canola stubble? I will have to spray MCPA in the
burnoff to kill the canola
and will follow up with Odyssey in crop.

Should grow oats on the canola stubble
but I am running out of room as where to put the
peas.

You can spray MCPA Amine on peas, up to 220ml/acre from the 2nd to 5th node.
I've had success using 190ml/acre of MCPA ester in 1 leaf wheat to kill the volunteer canola at the cotyledon stage. It's not a recommended practice however because you can cause the wheat heads to emerge all twisted and stuck in the boot if your rate is to high.
200ml/acre of MCPA Amine as a preburn to kill vol. canola before peas will be safe.

0.2 to 0.28L/ac of MCPA Amine is registered as a tank mix with R-up as a pre-seed burnoff treatment prior to peas ... At this rate, we have seen good control of volunteer canola as long as it is in the early stages of growth (cot. - 2 leaf). Proper timing of an in-crop application of Odyssey should take care of any canola that emerges later.

Up to .505 l/acre of MCPA NA sodium is registered on field peas 2-5 node stage. .190 l/acre MCPA NA sodium is registered together with 77 g/acre Sencor. Sencor allowne can be sprayed up to the first flowers, the mix should be early. Note: volunteer canola can come with a second flush, late and I advise not to grow canola direkt after peas (sclerotinia), but if you have to, try to set the canola after the peas and seed as early as possible.

A quick note as well. If you choose to grow canola after peas and spray odyssey, Odyssey tends to carryover more on low pH soils. So if it's a drier year you can hurt the canola. Just be aware of your soil pH. Chances are slim but it can occur.
