    Nitrogen anhydrous

Just snooping around today and got to stories of gas for east Saskatchewan.
Pool at .38 delivered to own tank.
Local independent .42 delivered to own tank.
Big problem both said is no one has shown up with a check book so real spring price is hard to give.
But the big boys are not doing supply and demand they are doing like canola and crusheres where is the number that the dumb farmer will bite at to purchase. Natural gas prices they say don't matter to the price farmers pay for product.
There is a big con game happening in western Canada with farmers and suppliers. a big con game.

I was reading in the paper today that the price of granular nitrogen dropped $50/tonne after the FNA fertilizer rail cars showed up. Amazing what some competition will do. As an anhydrous user I wish some competition could happen in the anydrous market, but that could face a few more obstacles due to storage issues.
