Saskfarmer3 how much is your glyphosate

Enjoy your posts and as an australian farmer our farming systems are similar despite quite different climate.
Our glyphosate 450g/l of active is $4.00 per litre australian doesnt seem to matter if its generic chinese or "brand" names the chinese imports have dropped the price alot almost 50% in about 4 years.
almost all chemicals in aust have generic types

Spring price for Renegade which is monsantos Generic was 6.08 a liter but thats the high strength stuff.
Burn off is a 1/3 of a liter so basically they mathched FNA
FNA price for clearout 41 is $4.25 Delivered to the farm. Buisy harvesting probably the worst crop in last 5 years. Dont listen to the experts Canada does have a really poor yielding canadian crop in 2006. SW Sask is Bad.SE is Bad Flooded area is poor and their is a little crop between Regina and Saskatoon.

The wheat yields in Alberta are above average, so not all of Western Canada is yielding poorly.

I'm in alberta, and my wheat is below average. No rain, no crop. It is interesting how hybred canola out yields the wheat crop, even with extreme heat and dry.

To wild Rose you have your head so far up your Back side that you think just because your farm had a excellent wheat crop the Whole province had one.

Saskfarmer. After reading some of your comments on other threads, I would expect no less of an answer from you. I get tired of your woe is me talk about farming. If you would put half as much energy into doing something productive rather than complaining and insulting everyone you speak to, I think you'd have yourself a very successful business and would no longer feel the need to complain anymore.
Now take care and here's to watching the CWB be dismantled, grain prices on the rise and to the competent people we surround ourselves with to help us make smarter decisions.

Central alberta, wheat yields 15-20% less than last year, quality way better. #2 13.5-15%protein. Only time I have had #1 was during the drought.

THanks ron you just confirmed what I have heard from friends in Alberta. Wild rose looks at only his farm and feels everthing is alright.
Yes alberta as a whole is down by 12- 20 % sask is down by lots but our Sask AG always puts a rozy rozy on the results. Manitoba is ahead of last year but they were drowmed out in 05
WIld rose needs a failure like we had in 02, 03 ,04 Hell I use to think like he did even probably worse but then when I seen what support a farmer really has after 3 wrecks You learn fast.
Hell one would not no prosperity unless they had failure.
