442 is right, if you compare the actives and concentration of active ingredients there is a difference among these products...others were comparing themselves to the new potassium salts but they are different..not sure on theperfomrance side but one would assume they have faster uptake into the plant and we did see a difference on drydown on cerels this past fall that varied on product...clearout was slower to act than renegade...renagade is the same formulation and concentration as wmax, not even sure if there is a difference in the surfactant package, but now the color is different, the big difference is in the service package and warranty plus no risk share on canola...

i have personally booked the renegade shuttles and will pay in the 4.50 to 4.70 range..assuming the prices are wehre they were last year..may go with the wmax deal on my tuas acres given the low prices and risk share deal that covers the whole cost of tua and chem....

if the border was closer I too would look at bringing it over, but the fright cost/time is prohibitive even if i send my own van, just not enough difference in price to justify it...

I am more interested in the grassy and broadleafs generics where we spend a lot more money

I was a former touchdown user but in the last two years I have been using clearout and a bit of touchdown and will contiue to do so as I see no differance in performance between the two products. It is also a superior product when compared to renegade. do a field test with the three products and see for yourself.

I will also testify from my experience that clearout 41 is a superior product also. What I would like to know is has anyone had much experience in the purchase of all the other chemicals that one can order from FNA? From what I understand the farmer pays up front then gets a rebait later. Has that worked out for anyone? Can the farmer purchase the chemical cheaper that way? or is there no one doing that.

From what I know they did not have a chemical program last year because the distributors would not supply them. In 2005 they had one. The prices were "normal" chemical prices but then you got the rebate that you could use to pay for clearOut. That was (and the fact that they came out with it too late) why I did not use it. I hate those deals were you have to buy something to get something else cheaper!
Anyway when you figured in the rebate those prices were really good! And they would have delivered them free.

Clear-out 41 compared to renegade is a superior product.
            10000liters 5000 renegade 5000 clear-out 41.
winner clear-out 41 it has to do with surfactant.
Monsanto tried the old flash and pan routine last year but every one found the same thing in our area. it will be hard for them to do the same program in 07 in our area again.
