    Burbert

    You're a "funny fellow"
And you're only about a tenth as smart as you profess to be.

The only way you get screwed is if you let yourself get screwed so spare us your corporate conspiracy theories.

I know of a guy who used to buy anhydrous across the line.

It came out of simplot in brandon.
This is how it went down:

    1) anhydrous is made at siomplot in brandon.
    2) anhydrous is trucked across the line.
    3) anhydrous is trucked back over the line to farm in southern mb.

This was quite a few years back not sure how the rules have changed.

Did some more checking today and yes we can bring anhydrous back across the boarder its not like chemical.
Now today had a conversation with the Safer co territory rep. What a conversation. He denied denied denied. Then when I told him the Manitoba farm group was going to take action against price fixing he became concerned and started complaining about bad dealers etc. (Change topic)
The more I dig the More it looks like were getting screwed.

bgmb, Farmers can get screwed in at least two ways. They can be seduced and gently led down the garden path by the grain companies. Or they can get ****d when there is not a lot of time to spare. This year, with good grain prices, **** is the likely MO. To heck with ammonia, we'll use dry this year, likely to be screwed using it, at any rate too! PS, I never said I was smart, after all I am farming, but thanks for assuming as much. You seem to be a nice person though!

were talking ammonia but if you want a scare look into what dry or liquid will cost you and you will drink another 40.
Oh the big bad big farmers give me a break.
There is money that can be made at any size of farm its just attitude that counts.
