TUA on roundup ready or added to seed?

I had a call from P last night, they offered me seed 45H28 and TUA for 7.15/lb. I asked if it included TUA this year and he "thought so". I said if so I will take X# of bags at that price IF it included TUA.
He was supposed to get back to me today for the 9% discount by dec 6, no call yet(but I was in cell hell working all day).
Anybody know if TUA is included in bag price?

My seed was $6.50 a lb. plus another $3.00 a lb for the TUA and I didn't buy the good stuff like you are .

I purchased some 45H28 already. Price per pound similar to yours but that DOES NOT include the TUA. TUA is $156.63 per 50 lb bag. My rep told me that fee wouldn't be invoiced until March. Only had to pay for the seed right now.

Have you grown the 45H28 before? Did you like it?

Your right xman, thats the way it is. Price may vary depending on volume from what I am told. We booked ours a while ago.
Seen two results of 45H28 beside Invigour 8440. H28 was 4 bushel better in one test, 8440 was 2.5 bus better in the other. No other R/R's beat H28 from what I seen it this area yet.
Neighbor had H28 in and it looked impresive and yeilded well. Whatched it from my deck all summer.

X man I have used RR for the past 10 years and have always paid my TUA end June for 15 bucks which is now 3 dollars per acre as you pay it on seed, you should not have to pay before that. I am using all invigor seed this year but when I did price the RR I thought I was told 15 dollars per acre based on 5 lb per acre seed and charged on the seed so why are they charging you 156.63 per bag TUA?

Yeah, I was a little choked to find out that they are actually charging more than $15/ac if the farmer seeds at 5 lb/ac. (It works out to $15.66) I am going to seed at 4 lb/ac in 09 so my TUA cost will actually work out to $12.53/ac. I think Monsanto probably saw the writing on the wall that lots of guys are seeding lighter and they are trying to get a little bit more out of us.

the $1000 question is how low can you go? I have seeded 4 lbs/ac with great results with invigor, I seeded a bit of 43a56 in 07 and it is a very small seed, 3 lbs would probably be enough. Probably?
