Has anyone else had problems with viterra's safe program for exceed canola where they guarantee a yield and price if you grow it. We have seeded it to all their specs but with the drought have a crappy crop that crop insurance has put a zero kg appraisal on. Now viterra says we have to keep it in production till fall (and spray it) to qualify for the guaranteed yield. Kinda looks like viterra didn't think thru all the possible scenarios that could come up with this "insurance" type program.
