Ontario Canola Harvest Question: Swath Ahead of a Frost or Not?

Hi Guys. I saw this question on another site from an Ontario canola grower...Any suggestions.


I've heard that if Canola is not mature and forecast is for killing frost/freeze that it is better to swath ahead of the cold weather than wait for it.........Is this correct??? If so why???

Could I dessicate with Round-up/Reglone instead???

Obviously, i'm asking because I have canola not mature and cool weather in the forecast!
