    Does the WTO decision and Canada's complience mean the end of the quota system as we know it?

    The decision has absolutely nothing to do with quota, it's only on the non-quota export contracts, and realistically, the export prices now have been low enough that the people who were using the export contracts have been moving on anyways and either buying quota or shippiing to the US and paying the tariff. It'll be interesting to see how the end of the export contracts pushing quota demand, and Bill 81 pushing more quota onto the market, interact as far as quota price is concerned though.
