    Just wondering how other guys were making out with CAIS? I applied late and am being told I nead to wait now until my harvest is complete because I have both a cattle & grain operation?

    What does this years crop have to do with your application? or are you appying for an advance on the 2004 year?

      I was hoping to apply for an advance. I heard of one farmer who got $30,000

        I am sure that those farmers are few and far between. One farmer here got $760 and another got $3100. You have to file your interim tax by September 30.Then even if you did get turned down for an advance, you may be re-evaluated. I think that accountants are going to make more money than the farmer.
