Wool Insulation

I saw a report on one guy using dirty wool from his sheep to insuate his house he had problems with getting it passed inspection. Is there enough wool in western canada to make a viable business. Make the wool into bats like pink fibreglass but dye it green and get it certified as insulation and sell it as a bio insulation. Kind of makes me think it just might make a market for wool that can't be used for clothing. Sheep producers let me know what you think of the idea. Is it worth investigating more.
