I have oats in a few grain bags and ravens are pecking at them. I've patched the holes and unrolled bale net wrap down a couple of bags thinking it would stop them. It helped some but not totally. And today I made and set out 3 scare crows. I'm going to empty the bags soon, as the oats need dried, I will then bin the dry oats. The ravens don't bother with canola bags, but those suckers sure eat oats. Any ideas on how to keep ravens away would be very welcome....Thanks

The theory of shooting one is true but I wouldn't broadcast it. Raven's are a protected bird, but I don't understand why.
If you can shoot one, throw it on the bag. It has wonders.
We have also mixed up a couple small containers of poison mixed with beef and stuck the containers to the bags. Seemed to help as well.
Some people complain of deer getting on the bags. You can try a pallet or two at the ends, works like a texas gate.
