Swath rollers

does anybody like the mounted swath rollers, and if so does it go up and down with the header?

I use a home made manual crank swath roller and I prefer it over the tow behind. I just leave it down until I'm done the field.
There are hydraulic controlled rollers but I think they also leave them down.

Have a mounted hydraulic on my Westward, but its just setup to raise and lower seperatly from the header lift.
I would think it may be doable to have the roller raise and lower on the same switch as your header control.
Very good roller otherwise.

Yah, people seem to be happy with the mounted rollers. My concern is that, the roller if left down would hook the headland swath and flip it over when turning. Must not be a problem.
