FarmerGPS ???

I know this has been talked about before, but wonder if anyone is
still using FarmerGPS. Just wondering if it is stable in a laptop
or does program have a lot of hick-ups in field operation.
I am just after some mapping software for odd shaped fields. I
have been using a laptop with off-road tracking program to help
get back on track. Only problems,this program only has a line
and doesn't show whether you have booms on or off.
Last year a installed the farmerGPS on the laptop and found it
would talk to the sprayer controller and show which booms where
on. Problem was the 10minute time didn't let my test it in
field operations.
I am not look for Guidance. Just a better method to get back
on track and have less missed areas without over-spraying.

I use it and it works well, Johan is quick to answer any questions. Dont get to old a laptop as it will freeze up after 15 minutes or so, the program will run on almost anything but it will run out of memory on an E-bay $50 laptop, a $300 netbook works quite well though.
If only he could get guidance run through it.
