This spring we have been having mud build up on the rubber packer wheels of our Bourgault 3310 air drill. The mud on the wheels is not always a consistent thickness - so our seeding depth is changing across the machine and field.
So far we have reduced the tire pressure on the packer wheels to 15 psi and varied the hydraulic pressure from 500-1200 psi without much success.
Is this a problem for anyone else? Any suggestions on how to deal with this?
